Early Life and Training

As a young man growing up in Nashville, TN, Dean Massari would often go along with his father, a construction worker, to visit job sites. He heard the buzz of drills, the screech of saws, and the knock of hammers, all in concert to transform a shell of lumber and nails into a beautiful, habitable structure. These sights and sounds stayed with Dean, and as he moved into middle and high school, he chose to study the trades, first excelling in woodworking and metal shop.
